Driveway Damage

Depending on the severity of the storm, concrete driveways can be susceptible to chipping, spalling, cracking and peeling. Major storms such as tornadoes can cause breaking, splitting and structural damage to your driveway. If your driveway has a decorative overlay, stamped concrete or epoxy covered pebble treatment, be sure to carefully examine it for signs of damage. Even minor storm damage, including scrapes, scratches and hairline cracks can reduce the life of your driveway. It is always wise to have a full property inspection performed by a reputable storm restoration contractor. During the inspection, make sure to point out any signs of damage on your driveway to your inspector. Taking a picture of your damaged driveway right after the storm will help you get your claim approved.
